Summary

The Communications Admin will provide direct administrative support to the training and marketing teams. The position will help produce, edit, and distribute marketing and training materials across a variety of mediums, including print, video, and the web. This position will also be responsible for the information management of the marketing and training functions.

The ideal candidate is both highly organized and technologically savvy. Experience with adapting to new creative software applications is a significant plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide basic administrative support to the marketing and training team, including:
* Copying and material production
* Participant (database) management
* Reporting and Certification procedures
* Marketing materials inventory tracking
* Shipping and faxing
* Document control
* Purchase order and invoice support
* Create and edit training materials for the New Homes training program
* Edit basic video of taped training sessions, events, and meetings
* Coordinate with Builder clients on training session time & date, venue, and equipment
* Coordinate with vendors to ensure a steady supply of new materials
* Interface with other departments related to accounting, invoicing and IT systems




Education and Experience

At least two years in a similar role in marketing preferred
* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Qualifications

* Highly organized with excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
* Basic to intermediate skills with video and photo editing software, including but not limited to the Adobe suite, the Macromedia suite, or Apple iLife programs
* Proficiency with Mac OS X
* Intermediate PowerPoint skills
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of information/database management
* Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs
* Comfortable taking direction from more than one person - able to prioritize competing tasks and effectively communicate prioritization decisions
